Vitamin C in its pure form — used as an antioxidant to prevent browning and extend shelf life in fruits, vegetables, bread, dairy, and dozens of other products. It's completely natural, identical to the vitamin C found in oranges and broccoli. One of the safest additives in the food supply. Approved globally with no meaningful safety concerns. At typical food levels, it may even contribute a small nutritional benefit.
