A synthetic blue dye used to colour processed foods and drinks. Found in candies, soft drinks, and some canned or preserved foods. It creates bright blue or green shades when combined with yellow dyes. Generally considered safe by EFSA and FDA at approved levels. Sensitivity reactions are rare but possible.
