An anti-caking agent used exclusively in salt to prevent clumping. Despite the intimidating name containing "cyanide," it is a stable iron-cyanide complex that does not release toxic free cyanide under normal food conditions. Approved by EFSA and used at very low levels — typically 20 mg/kg maximum in table salt.
