Authentic organic Japanese KEIKO green tea "Konacha" (in bags) is grown in semi-shade, during the first and second harvests in May and June. It has a pleasant mild taste. Each tea bag is tightly packed individually to preserve the aroma and flavor of fresh tea leaves. Convenient for travel. Usually, such quality tea is not packaged in individual tea bags, but KEIKO green tea "Konacha" is specially packaged for easy use. Under the name KEIKO lies a group of exotic delicate teas, each with a completely different taste and aroma – just like the time of leaf picking. KEIKO teas are grown in an organic farm in the Kagoshima region, southern Japan. The tea can be grown in shade or sunlight. When grown in semi-shade, under special nets (in Japanese "Kabuse"), the conditions become very similar to the natural ones where wild tea bushes grow. "Kabusecha" is exceptionally rich in extracts, distinctly green, and acquires a sweeter taste. KEIKO teas are processed in a special way that allows the tea leaves to fully unfold and protects them from oxidation. Immediately after harvest, the tea leaves are steamed, cooled, rolled, and dried. Airtight bags preserve active ingredients and the fresh aroma of tea until you enjoy it. Packaged in a controlled environment. Preparation: pour hot water not hotter than 70-75ºC over the bag (up to 3 times) for one cup (about 150 ml) of water. Hold the first infusion for 60-90 seconds. Remove the bag and squeeze – the tea is ready to enjoy! Hold the second infusion for 15 s, the third for 30 s. Each time, remove the tea bag and squeeze well.
