Authentic organic Japanese KEIKO green tea "Tenko" (loose) grown in partial shade, first harvest at the end of April. It has an expressive, rich, fresh aroma. The brewed tea is a deep green color. It has a distinctive nutty flavor. Behind the name KEIKO lies a group of unusual delicate teas, each with a completely different taste and aroma – just like the time of leaf harvesting. KEIKO teas are grown in an organic farm in the Kagoshima region of southern Japan. The tea can be grown in shade or sunlight. When grown in partial shade, conditions under special nets (in Japanese "Kabuse") become very similar to natural ones in which wild tea bushes grow. "Kabusecha" is very rich in extracts, exceptionally green and acquires a sweeter taste. KEIKO teas are processed in a special way that allows the tea leaves to fully express their qualities and protect against oxidation. Immediately after harvesting, the tea leaves are steamed, cooled, rolled, and dried. Airtight bags maintain the active ingredients and fresh tea aroma until the moment you enjoy it. Preparation: pour with water no hotter than 60-65ºC (can be done a total of 4 times). One leveled teaspoon of tea leaves per cup (about 150 ml) of water. For the first infusion, steep for 60 seconds and fully pour out from the teapot – the tea is ready to enjoy! For the second infusion steep for 15 seconds, for the third infusion 15 seconds, and for the fourth infusion 30 seconds. Each time, the tea must be fully poured off from the tea leaves. It is best to drink all four cups of tea without long breaks between infusions. Packaged in a controlled environment. After opening, keep the package tightly closed in the refrigerator. The tea retains its best properties for at least one month after opening the package. Ingredients: organic green tea "Tenko".
