KEIKO organic Japanese green tea HOJICHA. Hojicha is roasted green tea. It consists of first and second flush green tea “Kabusecha”, grown in partial shade. It has a mild nutty aroma. This tea may appeal to those who find matcha tea too green and grassy. It can be prepared as either a hot or a cold drink. Preparation: mix 0.8 – 1.5 g of tea powder with a small amount of cold water in a cup. Whisk with a matcha whisk. Then pour 100 ml of boiled water at 80°C and whisk. Ingredients: 100% organic “Kabusecha” (green tea).
