Liqueur JAGERMEISTER (35% ALK. VOL.) AROMA Herbal aroma, rich and smooth taste, with barely noticeable cinnamon, ginger, and saffron spices. TASTE The founders of the company spent a long time perfecting the recipe for this beverage, aiming for no single ingredient to dominate, and for the taste to be neither too sweet nor too bitter. To this day, only a few descendants of the founders of 'Mast-Jägermeister AG' know the composition of the recipe. 'Jägermeister' is made from as many as 56 different herbs, fruits, roots, and spices, such as saffron, licorice root (E153), anise, ginger root, lavender petals, and others. This herbal composition is soaked in spirit, and the resulting concentrate is aged for 12 months in oak barrels. In these barrels, the beverage oxidizes, and a harmoniously smooth and rich flavor is extracted from the 56 different herbs. The resulting product is filtered, and only then, after experts check the quality, it is bottled. 'Jägermeister' is recommended to be consumed neat from shot glasses, chilled in the freezer. It is also suitable for mixing with soft drinks or for making cocktails.
