Ingredients: The Champagne house "Louis Roederer" is associated with the legendary "Cristal prestige cuvee" for many wine enthusiasts, created in 1876 specifically for Russian Tsar Alexander II. However, even without this champagne, the house of "Louis Roederer" has an impeccable reputation. To this day, the company remains family-owned, run by the seventh-generation representative Frederic Rouzaud, grandson of one of the most notable women of Champagne, Camille Roederer. Currently, "Louis Roederer" produces two-thirds of its champagnes only from grapes grown in its own vineyards. They own 240 hectares of vineyards, most of which are located in grand cru areas, thus even their base "Louis Roederer Brut Premier" champagne boasts aristocratic elegance. Vintage champagnes, even in lesser years, impress with impeccable style, complexity, and longevity. For the wine production, healthy and fully ripe pinot noir (60%) and chardonnay (40%) grapes from grand cru growing areas located in Montagne de Reims, Vallée de la Marne, and Côte des Blancs are used. During secondary fermentation, the wine is aged for 6 years on the yeast lees. After disgorgement, the champagne is additionally aged for 8 months in the producer's cellars. The intensely yellow wine has aromas of candied citrus peels, pollen, roasted hazelnuts, and Madagascar vanilla. In the glass, aromas of fresh pastry and smoke emerge, signifying the long aging of the wine in the bottle. In the mouth, the wine is energetic, concentrated, and mineral.
