“Lebensbaum” organic ground classic 100% Arabica coffee “Gourmet” has a harmonious aroma and taste. This coffee is made using only organic Arabica coffee beans from the mountains of Peru and Uganda. Grown at over 1000 meters above sea level, shaded by large trees and naturally protected from the harsh sun, the organic coffee beans ripen slowly and acquire an unparalleled aroma. Coffee intensity – 3 (out of 5). Since 1933, “Lebensbaum” has specialized in roasting the finest coffee varieties. Roasting the coffee beans slowly and in small quantities at 233ºC for 16 minutes (including pre-heating) reveals a wonderful aroma. The coffee is then not burned, avoiding the formation of carcinogenic substances and not irritating the stomach. In comparison, roasting regular coffee reaches temperatures of 500–600ºC, with an average of two tons of coffee beans roasted for about 40 minutes. “Lebensbaum” coffee trees are traditionally grown among large trees that provide shade. This protects the soil and promotes a diverse ecosystem. The producers select the highest quality raw materials on-site.
