'Beutelsbacher' organic acerola fruit (Malpighia) pulp is sweet and sour, a wonderful drink made from just one ingredient – acerola fruit. Recommended for enhancing desserts, such as ice cream, waffles, or cakes. Or to consume alone. Not from concentrate. No added sugar (contains naturally occurring sugars). Rich in vitamin C. Acerola is similar to the cherries we are familiar with – the berries are juicy and aromatic, sweet-sour, red, but slightly different in shape, and you’ll notice a subtle taste difference when you taste it. The pulp is pasteurized by heating it to a temperature of 90–95 °C for 3 minutes, then it is immediately transferred to warmed bottles and cooled to room temperature.
