Organic extra virgin olive oil 'Coriolanum' from Southern Italy. 2023 harvest. This is a top quality olive oil, cold-pressed from olives using only mechanical means. Used to enrich diet, prepare food, and care for skin. Extremely mild in taste. Grown and pressed in the Calabria region, near the towns of Corigliano Calabro and Sibari, in a private, family-run olive grove. The name of the place translates to 'land of olive trees'. The farm grows several varieties of olives. Organic 'Coriolanum' oil is pressed from 70% Dolce di Rossano and 30% other local varieties of olives no later than 12 hours after harvesting. The farm follows organic farming and place of origin control (since Italian oils are frequently counterfeited). In the production of extra virgin olive oil, the temperature during pressing is controlled, not exceeding 27ºC, making the oil suitable for raw foodists. Used for food: salads, pasta, fish, meat, other dishes, and also in cosmetics - either alone or with herbal extracts or essential oils. Since it contains predominantly monounsaturated fatty acids, olive oil is suitable for sautéing and quick frying at low temperature. It’s an impeccable choice in terms of flavor.
