“Lebensbaum” 100% Arabica coffee beans from biodynamic (Demeter) farms. Aromatic, smooth with a subtle flavor and a slightly perceptible acidity. Suitable for various preparation methods. Valuable volcanic soil, shaded by trees, and a vast biological diversity characterize the places where this “Plantagen” coffee is grown – on the Pacific coast of Mexico in the Sierra Madre de Chiapas. The coffee beans mature slowly in a cool climate at 1000 m above sea level. “Lebensbaum” has specialized in roasting the finest coffee varieties since 1933. Slowly and in small quantities, roasting the coffee beans at 233ºC for 16 minutes (with preheating) reveals a wonderful aroma. The coffee is then not burned, no carcinogenic substances develop, and it does not irritate the stomach. In comparison, roasting regular coffee reaches temperatures of 500–600ºC, and on average, two tons of coffee beans are roasted for about 40 minutes. No artificial flavorings. Strict quality control.
