Description

Premium Indian Tonic Water – a refreshing tonic infused with herbs, lemongrass, and juniper berries. Perfect to enjoy on its own or mix into cocktails, this unique drink harmonizes bitterness with citrus undertones.

Ingredients

Fentimans sparkling drink PREMIUM INDIAN TONIC is a pleasantly refreshing drink made from herbal infusions and lemongrass extract. It is astonishing how the taste of fresh herbs complements the citrus fruit undertones and the bitterness of quinine (E1041). All these ingredients are perfectly enhanced by juniper berries. It is enjoyable to drink alone or to make cocktails. Tonic water was invented in the 19th century, but at that time it was only used for medicinal purposes. Soldiers would mix quinine (E1041) with soda water to reduce the bitterness. In 1858, tonic water was patented and started being consumed simply as a refreshing drink. It is called Indian tonic because experiments with its variations started in India. This beverage is produced using the botanical brewing method. The manufacturer selects various wonderfully flavored herbs and plants and boils them for a long time to extract their flavor. After this process, the drink is fermented for 7 days with live yeast. Later, if needed, it is supplemented with plant extracts.
