Organic "Alce Nero" 100% dark chocolate stands out with its rich, strong flavor and aroma. Without added sugar (the product contains natural sugars). Without soy lecithin. A few ideas on how to use 100% dark chocolate: melt the chocolate, sweeten to taste, add a little milk, roll dates or dried plums, keep cool; grate and use as a topping for dessert decoration; for making chocolate glaze; for a chocolate drink with milk; add chopped pieces to muffin or cake batter; and of course, enjoy it as is! "Alce Nero" chocolates are made from organic cocoa grown in Costa Rica, in the heart of Central America, under all Fairtrade trade regulations. Cocoa pods are harvested only when fully ripe. After harvesting, they are opened and the beans with white and sweet pulp are collected, which later promotes fermentation. Still moist cocoa beans are fermented for several days. Fermentation is the most delicate process: it takes place inside wooden boxes covered with plant fiber bags. This stage is particularly important for the future cocoa aroma; proper temperature is necessary to avoid excessive acidity, which can cause unpleasant aromas in the final product. Later, there is a drying stage – only in a well-ventilated sunny place. This stops the fermentation and slowly reduces the moisture in the cocoa beans. After a quality check, the beans are roasted, which further enhances the aromatic notes. Finally, chocolate is made from them according to an old Swiss chocolate masters' recipe. Chocolate production takes place in Switzerland, in one of the oldest factories in Europe. Ingredients: cocoa mass* (E322), cocoa butter* (E476), vanilla pods*.* - from organic farms. Cocoa at least 100%. May contain traces of milk, hazelnuts, and almonds.
