It has low bitterness and will perfectly enhance the taste of food. A quite versatile oil, it can be used in salads and drizzled over cooked food, as well as suitable for stewing and marinating. It will nicely season freshly baked bread. Produced in the Mirabelo region of Crete from Koroneiki variety olives. Their harvest for this oil is collected in November–December. Koroneiki olives are one of the most commonly used varieties for oil pressing in Greece. Highly valued for their organoleptic properties.
