Ingredients

Organic "Centumbrie" extra virgin olive oil MONOCULTIVAR DOLCE AGOGIA has a rich flavor, made from a single variety of olives, Dolce Agogia, hand-picked. This is cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil that can be enjoyed on its own due to its unique flavor. Flavor Characteristics. Fruity aroma, intense yet perfectly balanced taste, with very little bitterness. Tasting notes include cedar pine nuts, balsamic, almonds, and hints of berries and wild herbs. Production Characteristics. Mechanical cold pressing ensures high oil quality and preservation of all valuable nutrients. The new generation mill allows for the use of minimal water in production, contributing to environmental protection. To preserve the oil's organoleptic properties, it is bottled with careful temperature control. Sold in dark bottles to protect it from light. The oil is pressed as quickly as possible after harvesting the olives, but no later than 24 hours. Acidity: 0.17% (maximum standard 0.8%, for very good oil – maximum 0.3%). Polyphenol content: 799 mg/kg (considered to have high polyphenols if the concentration is not less than 250 mg/kg). Peroxides: 4.9 meq/kg (maximum allowable 20 meq/kg). Pressed at temperatures of 20–26 °C (for the oil to be called cold-pressed, the temperature during extraction must not exceed 27 °C). Perfect for flavoring dishes and during cooking. Drizzle on salads, over grilled or steamed fish, white meat, enhance seafood dishes, boiled beef or even dairy products. Dolce Agogia olives hold historical significance as an Etruscan heritage. They ripen quite quickly, so they must be carefully monitored and harvested in time. It gives the oil a delicate balsamic aftertaste. The polyphenols present in olive oil are particularly beneficial to the human body. They help protect blood lipids from oxidative damage. Positive effects are observed by consuming 20 g of olive oil per day.
