The protected geographical indication (PGI) guarantees that this olive oil is sourced from a specific region – in this case, Chania Crete. Koroneiki variety olive trees have been cultivated in this region for many years. Immediately after harvest, certified organically grown olives are carefully handpicked, washed, and then gently pressed without the use of any heat source. This preserves all beneficial substances present in the oil. According to regulations, especially pure olive oil is not treated with chemicals or refined. Natural sediments or cloudiness do not affect the quality of the product. The oil's acidity is 0.41%. Polyphenols +/-393mg/kg. Gourmets consider olive oil from Crete an indispensable ingredient for salads and dressings. This oil is perfect for Mediterranean dishes and seafood.
