"Komvida" organic kombucha APPLES, CINNAMON AND VANILLA is a sparkling, fermented drink, where apples provide fruitiness, vanilla gives a slight sweetness, and cinnamon adds a wonderful aroma. unpasteurized; with probiotics; gluten-free; lactose-free; suitable for vegans. Kombucha is made by adding a symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast, known as scoby or tea fungus, to sweetened tea. Fermentation lasts a few days with careful temperature control. Later, if desired, the kombucha is flavored with fruits, berries, vegetables, juices, or various spices to achieve a certain taste. Kombucha is always made with sugar, but almost all of its amount is broken down during fermentation. When yeast ferments sugar, carbon dioxide is produced, and the drink becomes carbonated.
