Ingredients

‘Komvida’ organic kombucha GINGER AND LEMON is a carbonated, fermented drink, with ginger providing a hint of spiciness and lemon imparting a sour taste. For those who prefer a more intense kombucha. unpasteurized; with probiotics; gluten-free; lactose-free; suitable for vegans. Kombucha is made by adding a symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeasts, known as SCOBY (symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeasts), to sweetened tea. Fermentation lasts a few days under carefully controlled temperature. Later, if desired, kombucha is flavored with fruits, berries, vegetables, juices, or various spices to achieve a specific taste. Kombucha is always made with sugar (E1505), but almost all of it is broken down during fermentation. As the yeast ferments the sugar, carbon dioxide (E290) is produced, making the drink carbonated.
