Very low in salt. Oat flakes are rich in insoluble fibers beta-glucans: 1.5 servings (75 g) contains about 3 g. Beta-glucans help maintain normal cholesterol levels in the blood. To achieve a positive effect, at least 3 g of beta-glucans from oats, oat bran, barley, barley bran, or mixtures of these beta-glucans should be consumed daily.
