Ingredients

Beemster Dutch pasteurized cow's milk cheese BEEMSTER BEEMSDAMMER, aged for 35 days, is a yellow semi-hard cheese with a light milky sweetness and a nutty note. It has visually noticeable large round holes. Prepare sandwiches, burgers, quiches, enhance pasta, salads, soups, grains, or enjoy it on its own, it's a great delicacy! The cows that produce the milk for this cheese graze in polder areas. This is a drained and embanked low-lying region in the lake delta. The milk from cows grazing in such periodically flooded areas has an exceptional flavor. Produced in the Beemster Polder region of the Netherlands according to an old recipe. Curd mixing is carried out by hand. These cheeses have holes that form due to the carbon dioxide released during production. You may also notice small crystals in the cheese that form as it ages.
