Laesk organic kombucha PINK YUZU is a wonderful fermented tea drink with the flavor of rose hips and fragrant mandarins – a blend of floral undertones and citrus freshness. The tea is prepared using dried rose hips and elderflower. For fermentation, a special SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture Of Bacteria and Yeast) mushroom is added to the tea. At the end of the process, the drink is enriched with yuzu fruit, giving the kombucha a pleasant freshness. Tasting reveals rich bubbles, which occur when yeast converts sugar into carbon dioxide. Yuzu, or fragrant mandarin, is a citrus fruit whose flavor resembles a pleasant blend of lemon, mandarin, lime, and grapefruit. Kombucha is made by adding symbiotic bacteria (E200) and yeast (E1701) cultures to sweet tea. Fermentation lasts for 7-30 days while carefully controlling the temperature. Later, if desired, it can be enriched with essential oils (E422) or juices to achieve a specific flavor.
