Ingredients

Made with black tea and sugar, just like thousands of years ago. "Vitality Drink" organic kombucha TRADITIONAL is a naturally carbonated, mildly sour drink made by fermenting tea and other spices for two weeks. Unpasteurized. Unfiltered. Kombucha is made by adding a symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast, known as scoby or tea fungus, to sweetened tea. Fermentation lasts several days with careful temperature control. Later, if desired, the kombucha is flavored with fruits, berries, vegetables, juices, or various spices to achieve a certain taste. Kombucha is always made with sugar, but almost all of it is broken down during fermentation. When yeast ferment sugars, carbon dioxide (E290) is produced, making the drink effervescent.
