Ingredients

Artequeso unpasteurized sheep milk cheese MANCHEGO ARTESANO PDO, aged for 11 months, is cylindrical in shape, firm in texture, ivory-colored, has a naturally formed yellowish-brown rind, and unevenly distributed air pockets inside. It has an intense, rich buttery flavor, slightly salty and tangy. Perfect for tasting with fruits, nuts, sun-dried tomatoes, and figs. Semi-hard. Fat content 55%. This cheese is Spanish, produced specifically in the La Mancha region from Manchega sheep's milk. When the milk is collected, it is heated in large vats, and rennet is added while stirring. Heat and rennet ensure curd formation. The curd is then separated and drained. It is then transferred to barrel-shaped molds where it is pressed. The pressed cheese is salted and aged. It holds the PDO (Protected Denomination of Origin) label, awarded only to products whose quality and characteristics are exclusively dependent on their place of origin, indicated by a geographical location in the name. All stages of production (from raw material production to processing) must be carried out in that area. Artesano in the name means that the cheese is handmade, made by artisans.
