“Margot” unpasteurized cow's milk cheese TETE DE MOINE AOP, aged 2.5 months, is sold with a slicer and a lid. It is a semi-hard, white cheese, made so that it can be shaved with a special tool called a “girolle”. When shaving this cheese, a rose-like shape is formed. It is believed that by shaving thinly, more of the cheese surface comes into contact with the air, revealing the wonderful aroma and taste of the cheese. It has a creamy consistency, nutty flavor, and a slight acidity. Like a soft cloud, it melts easily in the mouth. It is sold with a box and a slicer “fleurolle”. It bears the AOP (Appellation d'Origine Protégée / Protected Designation of Origin) label, granted only to such products whose quality and characteristics depend exclusively on their place of origin. All stages of production (from raw material production to processing) must take place in that area. Produced in the Jura and Bernese Jura cantons of Switzerland.
