“Komvida” organic kombucha MANGO is a sparkling, fermented drink that has a pleasant sweetness of exotic fruits. unpasteurized; with probiotics; gluten-free; lactose-free; suitable for vegans. Kombucha is made by adding a symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast called scoby to sweet tea, also known as tea fungus. Fermentation lasts for a few days with careful temperature control. Later, if desired, kombucha is flavored with fruits, berries, vegetables, juices, or various spices to achieve a certain taste. Kombucha is always made with sugar (E1505), but almost all of it is broken down during fermentation. When yeast ferments (E1105) sugar, carbon dioxide (E290) is produced, and the drink becomes sparkling.
