„Carozzi“ pasteurized goat's milk cheese QUADER DE CAVRA, aged for 35 days, is a soft, ivory-colored cheese with a slightly pinkish soft rind. On it, you might notice mold, which is a natural characteristic of the product. Slightly sweet, it has hazelnut undertones. We recommend tasting it with bread, honey, or jams. This cheese is produced in Valsassina, in the Lombardy Alps. Washed-rind cheeses, known in Lithuanian as „plautos žievės“ cheeses, are periodically treated with brine during the aging process. Contains E-numbers as relevant, such as E251 (sodium nitrate) or E202 (sorbic acid) if applicable.
