It has a delicate taste, intense, characteristic aroma. Felino salami is an Italian salami originating from the Felino municipality, after which it is named. It is one of the most popular snacks in the Parma region, typically paired with Parma ham. It is very important for Italians to slice this salami so that the pieces are the thickness of black pepper diameter. It has IGP (Protected Geographical Indication) certification, which means that products with this certification have a distinct origin: their quality or other characteristics are linked to a specific geographical location where at least one stage of the product's production must take place.
